This month's small business spotlight features my financial advisor and friend, Davis Linden. Davis has been working with Edward Jones since 2012 out of his office in Genesee. Davis and I met a few years back at the recommendation of my past business coach, Janet Redford (I can't recommend her enough if you need a great coach!). Janet believed that Davis and I would get along because we are both hard working people with a love to travel and explore. Davis and I met not long after Janet connected us. We hit it off pretty quickly and Davis eventually invited me to join a volleyball league with some of his friends, where we got to know another even better. Davis currently is my financial advisor and I cannot recommend him enough!
His focus areas include divorce finances, employee stock options, socially conscious investing, retirement income strategies, retirement saving strategies and wealth strategies. Davis can help you with your retirement saving strategy to allow you more options when you ultimately retire to make sure you are able to make the most of it!
Davis graduated from the University of Iowa, Tippie College of Business with a bachelor's degree in business management. Since then, he has completed his CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®, and AAMS™ designations. He also completed his master's degree in financial planning in 2019. He is extremely passionate about being as educated as possible in his field.
Davis prides himself on building his business through community service and volunteerism. He has served on the Conifer Chamber of Commerce board of directions, served on the board of Leadership Evergreen, and he is a current member of the Evergreen Rotary Club, his HOA and Mt. Evans Home Health and Hospice.
One of the things I love about working with Davis is that he is genuinely interested in helping his clients achieve their goals. In his free time, Davis enjoys traveling, scuba diving, running, aviation and volunteering. He received his pilot's license in 2022 and hiked all of his remaining Colorado 14'ers in 2021! He is currently working towards his rescue scuba diver rating and visiting all the National Parks across the country!
