I had the pleasure of being introduced to Sarah and Henry through a very recent past client of mine (shoutout to Yashila!). There is a referral train that started almost 3 years ago and seems to continue every month. Every time I get a referral from this growing group, I end up meeting the BEST people. Sarah and Henry are no exception to that.
We got together at a coffee shop to do a buyer consultation. I explained the process of purchasing, as well as what it would take to win in this market (in extreme detail). We set up showings the following week to make some decisions between townhomes and single family homes. By the following week, these 2 were approved and ready to go. We found a house they liked but it ended up not being the best scenario for them with the listing agent and seller. Luckily, they found another home they liked that same weekend and they were ready to come out swinging! We submitted an aggressive offer that ended up getting accepted during the Superbowl on Superbowl Sunday!
It's always a great day when you have a competent agent and a reasonable seller on the other side of a deal. We were able to negotiate a sewer repair AND a full roof replacement for these 2. Within just 2 weeks of their offer being accepted, we were at the closing table.
Words cannot express how genuinely thrilled I am that these two wonderful humans were able to tie up such a great house, have a great seller, and get to the closing table so quickly. The house is big, well-maintained, in a great area, and has the yard they were hoping to find. Not to mention, shortly after going under contract, interest rates increased pretty substantially (but not for these two!). Congratulations Sarah and Henry!
