Peter & Viridiana: New Construction Homeowners

Peter works for a professional mitigation company that handles fire, mold, water damage, and more. I met Peter through working together on a few real estate deals—he did a fantastic job on those projects, and we stayed in touch professionally over the years.

Eventually, Peter was ready to purchase another property. I was absolutely thrilled and honored when he reached out to ask for my help. He was primarily interested in new-build communities because many of them are currently offering amazing lender incentives, including significantly reduced interest rates—much lower than what the general market is offering right now.

After identifying a property he liked, we connected with the builder, and before we knew it, we were under contract! A couple of months (and a few builder-related delays) later, we officially closed on this great home at the end of June.

In addition to helping Peter purchase his new home, I also supported him through the process of getting his current home rented. That included connecting him with my attorney to finalize the lease agreement, reviewing rental comps, recommending a professional photographer, and offering plenty of tips, tricks, and advice to set him up for success as a landlord.

Huge congratulations to Peter for locking in an interest rate in the low 5's, while most rates are hovering around 7%! Not to mention, he also scored some great appliance upgrades and a few other perks from the builder along the way due to the delays!
