Karen and I met in college at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. I was ecstatic to hear from her after she moved to Denver and was considering purchasing a home. We began shopping in the Spring of 2020, just as the pandemic started setting in. Karen works as a Registered Nurse and quickly found herself knee deep in dealing with covid-19. She wanted to be able to put all of her energy into her patients, so she decided to hold off on the search. (Thank you Karen for all you do!)
We got back to looking in December! The first weekend of January, Karen found a town home she loved. Unfortunately after offering a strong cash offer, we still didn't win the deal. But good thing, because the next property she found ended up being even better! Karen ended up finding a single-family home with a 2 car garage, 2029 square feet (500 sq ft larger than the town home), 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2 outdoor spaces. Additionally, the home is in a community managed by an HOA, so Karen now also gets access to the workout facility, pool, hot tub, and clubhouse for a low monthly rate.
Congratulations on the purchase of your first home, Karen! And thank you for being so dedicated to your profession which serves the community at such an important level!
