Jessica and Phil showed up to my monthly Home Buying 101 class on the recommendation of their awesome lender, Abby McDaniel, back in 2019. After coming to the class, looking at their current lease, getting pre-approved, etc., they decided to wait a year before buying. However, we stayed in touch the whole time and even viewed a few places last year to help them get a feel for the market.
This summer, they first explored the option of purchasing their current landlords’ unit. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement on the town home and we began searching for single-family homes. After several weeks of searching and losing out on a couple of offers in this hyper-competitive market, we found a great scenario! We were the first people in the door and the first to write an offer on the home. Our speed paid off, as despite the multiple offers on the table, the Seller wanted to speak to us first. We were able to come to an agreement that day and get these 2 home buyers under contract! After a short but contentious escrow period, we finally got to the closing table.
This cute and fully updated 2 bed, ,1 bath, 1015 square foot home comes with raised garden beds, a paver patio, chicken coop, and a 1 car detached garage. Cheers to my hard-working and well-deserving first-time buyers! Check out their gorgeous home below!
