Jenny called me after finding me on a Lesbian Realtor site. She told me that she and her partner, Stephanie, were ready to buy. I got them hooked up with my awesome lender and sent over the paperwork for us to work together. However, a house popped up that they loved right away so we hustled to get everything done several days before we had scheduled, in order to get into the house and get an offer in. The first time I actually met them was at this first house! They immediately trusted my advice and submitted an extremely strong offer. Unfortunately they didn’t win! But good news, because they decided that area was not where they wanted to be!
We then began looking solely in Arvada for their ideal home. As VA borrowers in a very competitive price range, area and market, we were having a hard time getting them under contract. They lost out on a few homes in extremely competitive situations. However, in the long run, I’m glad they did! Jenny and Stephanie ended up getting a shot on the best home we saw during their search phase thanks to the home falling out of contract.. TWICE! They were able to snatch it up and successfully get to the finish line after some tough negotiations. When it was all said and done, they closed on this incredible home and actually got paid at closing!
