From Home Buying 101 to Homeowner

Homeowner in closing day

A lovely gentleman by the name of Griffin attended one of my Home Buying 101 classes. After the Home Buying 101 class, I reached out to him to see if he would like to set up a meeting. It turns out that he had been referred by two of my amazing past clients (thank you so much, Mark and Stephanie, for your continued support! It absolutely means the world to me).

Given my client load at the time that Griffin was ready to set up a consultation, I decided to go ahead and bring on my badass showing assistant, Becca, to help me with the deal. We attended the consultation with Griffin together, making sure that we covered the entire process and how it worked from start to finish, as well as getting crystal clear on his goals and comfortability around finances. Griffin came into our consultation already pre-approved with one of my lenders since he had previously attended one of my home buying classes, which allowed us to get looking at properties much faster.

Soon after our consultation, Becca and I completed a Discovery Day with Griffin where we tried to hone in on what the right property would look like for him. Not long after, Becca took Griffin out on a second set of showings, during which Griffin found a home that he absolutely adored. This home was trending to be very competitive, so we quickly got an offer together with a tight deadline for the seller. Ultimately, the seller opted to accept our strong offer. Utilizing this strategy helped to ensure that the price remained well within Griffith's comfort level and that he didn't overpay for the property, while also making sure that he got under contract on a home that he loves.

Upon going under contract, we discovered a few items at inspection. The seller was willing to tackle the major ticket items, which put Griffin at ease. The appraisal ended up coming in above the contract price, meaning Griffin was walking into some instant equity. Within just a few weeks, we were at the closing table and handing Griffin the keys to his amazing new space. Unfortunately, I was out of town for Griffin's closing, but I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to work with Becca on this deal, who did an amazing job of making sure that Griffin felt comfortable during all of the moments I wasn't able to be present.

Congratulations to all parties involved!
