From Friendship to Homeownership

About six or seven years ago, my business coach recommended that I meet a financial advisor named Davis. We quickly hit it off, bonding over our mutual love of travel, and our friendship grew over time. Davis even invited me to join him in a summer volleyball league, where I got to meet more of his friends and deepen our connection. Eventually, Davis became my financial advisor, and we started referring clients to one another, a relationship that was both professional and personal.
A few years later, Davis let me know he was looking for his next property. He had a very specific vision, something unique that rarely comes on the market in Denver. I kept a close eye on the market for him, and about two to three years later, a property that met his criteria began construction. We were first in line to pursue it, but as the process unfolded, it became clear the units were dramatically overpriced, and that opportunity ultimately fell through.
After that, Davis and I had several conversations about what the right property might look like. I suggested we spend a full day exploring a variety of homes in different areas, just to see what truly resonated with him. Over a couple rounds of showings, he began to realize that he really wanted to be close to Sloan’s Lake.
Shortly after, I found a property I believed would be perfect for him, even though it was slightly above his initial budget. We scheduled a showing, and the moment Davis walked through, it was clear he had fallen in love. We quickly put together a strong offer and got the deal under contract. During the under-contract process, we successfully negotiated multiple inspection items to be completed before closing, ensuring the property was in great shape and the process ran smoothly.
Congratulations, Davis, on the purchase of this incredible property! While it may be a bit different than what you initially envisioned, I am thrilled with the investment you’ve made and even more thrilled knowing how happy you’ll be in this home. This is such an exciting chapter, and I can’t wait to see you enjoy everything this property has to offer. You deserve it!!
