Travis and I met through a handful of friends who have purchased homes with me. (Thank you Kelley, Cayley, Josh, Nathan and Austin!) Travis came to me back in the Spring of 2023. We had a buyer consultation, he got pre-approved with one of our preferred Lenders, Abby McDaniel, and we got a timeline together for when it would make the most sense for him to buy!
After a couple of months, it was time that we went and did a discovery day together to see what type of home may be the best fit for him. After a couple of sets of showings, Travis ended up leaving the country to go on a trip with his family. Of course, that is when the perfect home came on the market!
I looked at the home for Travis and sent him videos of the property. He decided he wanted to pursue it! And good thing he did! He ended up getting the property for $50,000 BELOW the original list price AND the home ended up appraising $50,000 over the contract price! We also got $14,000 of Seller concessions up front for a 2/1 buy down (to make his interest rate and corresponding monthly payment lowed) AND we negotiated a handful more credits and repairs at inspection! It was a great deal for Travis all around!
