We are growing....again! Please welcome Kristen Sutton to our team! Woohoo!
Kristen is originally from the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. She attended Kent State, where she received her Bachelor's of Arts in interior design. She worked as an interior designer for a while before transitioning to graphic design and eventually a marketing role. For the past few years, she has been working in marketing for an engineering and architecture firm. Kristen has been in Denver now for six years! Kristen and I met while I was attending Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. We met during my senior year of college and became good friends, before eventually agreeing to move out to Denver together. Kristen is actually responsible for introducing me to my wife and she officiated our wedding recently!
In Kristen's free time, you can catch her getting into anything creative and artsy. She loves leather crafting, pottery and painting. Kristen is a big traveler! She has been to Europe and did a solo trip to Iceland recently! She also has a huge passion for the outdoors and enjoys kayaking, hiking and spending time up in the mountains. Her 130 pound Great Dane, Sage, is her sidekick wherever she goes!
Since the beginning of her interior design career, her plan has always been to get into real estate. Her day job was a means to get there until it was time to begin the transition into real estate to work towards her investing goals. Real estate fits right into her skill set as she has always had a passion for homes and interior design.

What makes her different than other agents?
Kristen's professional background in interior design gives her a huge advantage in the real estate world. It allows her to give recommendations to help clients see themselves in a home and help visualize what would function well for any person or family. She stays keenly on top of trends which allows her to predict values, and helps her recommend what upgrades or changes will age well.
Kristen prides herself on her authenticity. She will always be straight forward and honest with her clients. You will not get an "overly sales" approach with her. She will give her clients the same advice she would give her best friend or mom.
Communication is another huge factor for Kristen. She wants her clients to feel heard and understood with their concerns and desires. She will take the necessary steps to ensure her clients feel like they are making informed decisions.
Kristen is a problem solver. She likes to find creative ways to accomplish what she wants. In the real estate industry, this means finding ways to get clients into their dream home or to get them further along towards their long term goals.
Kristen might be new to the real estate industry but she has been in and around homes for a while. She is hitting the ground running and I only see big things happening for her! We are so excited for Kristen to be apart of the team! She has been like family to me for quite a while, and now we also get to work together!
