Marley and I met in college at Case Western Reserve University! She was on the soccer team there and I was on the basketball team. A few years after college, we both ended up in Denver! Eventually, Marley reached out to me about selling her condo here in Denver and purchasing a single family home.
We met back in August of 2022 and got a plan together. There were a few things that needed to occur with the HOA, etc, before she would be ready to list, so we aimed for the Spring 2023 time-frame. Marley is one of those awesome people who was serving on the HOA board and wanted to make sure she saw a few projects through to the finish line!
Fast forward to the Spring of 2023, when we met at her property, had a formal listing appointment and got a timeline together! Marley ultimately decided she wanted to buy first before selling, so we got started on the buying side right away!
Marley and I looked at no short of 25 properties and wrote a handful of offers before finding the perfect home for her that she was willing to be extremely competitive on. We came in 2nd place and unfortunately, the house went to another buyer. However, just two days later, the listing agent contacted me and said they just received a termination from the first buyer. They asked if we would like to go under contract. Marley said yes, and lo and behold, she was under contract on the home of her dreams!
