Laura Leathers:Entrepreneur & Investor

Laura and I met in Ecuador during the summer of 2016. We were both there for a month to obtain our Yoga Teacher certifications. As we started to talk about business in some of the off time, we instantly became friends. In fact, she was one of the only people I knew when I moved to Denver just a few months later.

Laura is an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. She started her first business back in 2010 when she was just 25 years old. The company, L-Evation Promotions, was a field marketing agency that had secure contracts with many large producers and distributors around Denver. She owned this company for 10 years before reaching a point of struggling to find her passion in it. She needed to make a decision to sell the business or shut it down. Laura ended up selling her company to a loyal employee to ensure her clients still received the best level of care.

Now, Laura travels and teaches yoga. She started teaching back in 2016 after we both received our certifications. I can confidently say that Laura is one of the best yoga teachers I have been in a class with across many states and countries. She is dedicated to promoting positive health of both the body and of the mind. In addition to her business revenue streams, Laura is an active real estate investor. Laura owns 3 properties and is currently contemplating purchasing a 4th. She purchased her 1st investment property, a 2 bed/2 bath condo in Lakewood, back in 2012 for $115k. She purchased her 2nd property, a 2 bed/2 bath town home in Arvada, back in 2015 for $256k. And finally, she purchased her 3rd property, a Midtown town home, in 2017. Laura understands the power of financial leverage through real estate, and I am SO pleased to be able to call her a client, in addition to a great friend.
