It’s Never Too Late to House Hack: Melisa

Melisa found me on the National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals site (NAGLREP). She called me out of the blue wanting to purchase a single-family home between Denver and Boulder. After getting her pre-approved, setting up an online search, and so forth, Melisa arranged to fly in for a few days to look at properties. And man did we look at properties! We checked out 21 homes together in 2.5 days. It was quite the marathon! However, by the end of her trip, she was under contract on a House Hacking dream!

Melisa recently closed on a beautiful 2-unit single-family residence. The upstairs unit features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a living/dining room, 1 attached garage space with additional off-street parking, a covered back-yard patio, and a covered front porch. The basement unit features a private entrance, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a dining room, a living room, laundry, a 1 car garage and a side yard. Once she gets this beautiful home rented, there will surely be another post to follow! Congratulations on this House Hacking special, Melisa!
