I first met Dave when I was a Sophomore in college and interviewing to run a Franchise for the company he was with back in the Midwest. He was actually the Vice President at the time and gave me a thumbs up to join the program. Over the next 3.5 years, Dave and I worked closely together. He was my dedicated business coach for 2.5 years and taught me some of my most fundamental lessons in business. Eventually, we both left the company at separate times and took off on different career journeys! Although, we have remained good friends ever since!
Soon after Dave moved to Denver (a little over a year ago), I had the opportunity to meet Betsy. Shortly after, we began looking at condos for the two of them. However, timing wasn’t aligning and they decided to wait a year to buy.
We started looking again in August of 2020. This time, they were focused on buying an investment property. It wasn’t long before we stumbled across a massive triplex that they ended up buying! Dave is not new to owning investments. He presently owns a duplex in Michigan and a condo in Chicago. With the addition of this triplex, he is now up to 6 doors! Even though this was Betsy’s first purchase, what an incredible way to do it! She went from 0 to 3 doors overnight! And guess what? They’re planning on buying again next year!
Nothing makes me happier than helping people build wealth. But I must say, it’s pretty freaking awesome when you get to help people you genuinely love and care about along the way.
