Dave & I met back in college when he was my business coach. After a couple of years of working together, Dave moved on to a new role. Luckily, we stayed in touch and continued a great friendship. Dave has been one of the most impactful people in my life to this day.
About a year and a half ago, I had the pleasure of helping Dave and his amazing wife Betsy purchase a large triplex in Lakewood. Although they picked up a property that they ended up loving, I knew they had their eyes on Golden for the long haul. Early in January, these two emailed me late on a Sunday night that they were in love with a home in Golden (pictures below). I quickly arranged for us to get a showing the next morning. They fell deeply in love with the stunning property. We rushed to get them pre-approved with my rockstar lender (Abby McDaniel) and get an offer together. Soon enough, we had an offer out to the Seller/Listing Agent. Within another day, these two were under contract on the property of their dreams.
The deal was a breeze due to the Seller being a high quality builder/flipper who acts with integrity and values selling a good product. The property was in immaculate condition and appraised at the contract price. Within just a few short weeks, we were at the closing table.
